The government of Malaysia has made significant progress in developing the primary healthcare systems in the country in terms of cost, access and quality. However, refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented persons, including children, continue to have difficulties in accessing these healthcare services. Government health care facilities are accessible to non-Malaysian residents at a significantly higher cost.
